Fake eyelashes are nowadays in trends. They add charm and flutter to your eyes. Good condition, natural looking lashes are an expenditure. If you keep your false eyelashes clean then you can use them many times.
The cleaning up these false lashes can be tricky. The glue and the mascara creates a bulk of the eyelashes. If you don’t clean them on the regular basis then it will be difficult for you to stick your lashes the next time.
The below two methods will help you to clean your fake eyelashes:
Method 1
You will need:
Cotton makeup pads
Coconut oil
Cotton swabs
Tweezers
-Place the lashes on the cotton makeup pad.
-Dip the cotton swab in oil and soak it.
-Gently hold the lashes with the tweezers on the cotton pad.
-Stroke the lashes with the cotton swab until it loosens the build-up.
-Continue to stroke the lashes until all the build-up comes away.
-Blot out the remaining oil on the lashes using a paper towel.
-Store your lashes in the box they came in to maintain the shape.
Method 2
You will need:
Cotton makeup pads
Eye makeup remover
Tweezers
-Just like eye makeup remover helps with cleaning all your eye makeup, it works just as well to clean your lashes.
-Soak a cotton pad in eye makeup remover and place your dirty lashes on top of it.
-Soak another cotton pad in the remover and place on top of the lashes.
-So you are creating a ‘lash’ sandwich with soaked cotton pads on both sides and the lashes in the middle.
-Leave it like this for 30 seconds.
-Then remove the lashes and gently pull away from the residual glue with a pair of tweezers.
-Then take a cotton swab soaked in makeup remover and gently wipe away the build-up.
-Store the lashes in the box they came in to maintain their shape.
