Air drying is the best way to keep your hair healthy and strong. Using hair dryers or hair straighteners often damages your hair type. If you are using an air-drying technique for your hair then you are on your right way but there are things you need to be careful about when it comes to air drying:

1. Discard your daily hair towel and exchange it for a microfibre cloth. The fibres present in it are far more absorbent and will not pull on your wet and weak follicles. When wiping, make sure you pat it down rather than rubbing them.

2. When your hair is around 50% dry use a G-comb rather of a paddle brush to detangle any knots.

3. Use a leave-in conditioner before your hair completely dries. Start at the ends and then move towards your roots. Any more and your hair will feel heavy and limp the moment it dries.

4. If you’ve got wavy hair and want to set those beach- esque waves, then use a texturising salt spray and scrunch the ends of your hair. You can also twist and bun it up for more defined waves.

5. Do not touch your hair a lot, particularly when it’s drying. Yes, it is attractive but this will only stimulate the frizz even more.
