With just a few days to go for the royal wedding of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, a few key guests from the already expansive list, expected to include over 600 people, have been revealed. In addition to Priyanka Chopra, the wedding is expected to attract several Hollywood stars.
A report on The Wrap says that Markle has invited the entire main cast of her former TV show, Suits. This includes Gabriel Macht, Rick Hoffman, Sarah Rafferty, Gina Torres, Patrick Adams and showrunner Aaron Kors.
Us reports that George Clooney and wife Amal Clooney will fly to London to attend the wedding. Rumours also suggest stars Cara Delevingne and Margot Robbie have been invited. Singers Ed Sheeran, Chris Martin and Ellie Goulding are expected to attend, although it is unclear if he will be performing like fellow guest, Sir Elton John.
Priyanka has already spoken about how excited she is for her friend, and for the wedding. ‘I’ve known Meghan for three years and I’m so happy the way the world has responded to her because as long as I’ve known her,’ she told US. ‘She’s that girl who thinks out of the box. She has always been an activist. She has always had a strong voice. She’s an ambitious girl of today. I think the world needs strong role models like Meghan. I think, I hope, Meghan will end up being one of those people.’
In addition to famous stars, the Royal Family will also host the Beckhams – David and Victoria – and tennis legend Serena Williams. Along with Victoria, the rest of the Spice Girls – Mel B, Melanie C, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell – will also be in attendance, although they won’t be performing.
The royal wedding will take place on May 19, at Windsor Castle. Fans have already begun camping out in the town of Windsor, and rehearsals are being conducted.
