Stefano Gabbana, founder of Dolce Gabbana, is infamous for his blatant remarks on celebrities and controversial topics. The designer’s remarks have landed him in hot water yet again for calling pop star Selena Gomez ugly on Instagram. The Italian fashion house founder commented on a collage of Gomez, “E proprio brutta(sic)!!!” which basically translates to “She is so ugly(sic).”

The Fetish singer, like always, is taking the higher road and not commented on this issue. But her loyal fan base and followers have asked Stefano to apologize to Gomez. Singer-songwriter Julia Micheals and Selena’s best friend tweeted, “@selenagomez just here to tell you that you are one of the most beautiful women I know, inside and out. I love you always(sic).” Commenters have called the Gabbana’s statement “disrespectful” and “distasteful” 13 Reasons Why Star, Tommy Dorfman wrote online, “@stefanobabbana you’re tired and over. your homophobic, misogynistic, body-shaming existence will not thrive in 2018. it is no longer tolerable or chic. please take many seats(sic).”

Gabbana has previously bullied celebrities like Kate Mossad and Victoria Bekham, online. Elton John, Courtney Love, and Ricky Martin boycotted D&G over insensitive comments made by the designers about IVF and the LGBTQ community.
