According to a study published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal, people suffering from dengue are twice as much at risk of suffering from a stroke, especially during the first two months. The findings were published after data of 13787 patients between 2000 and 2012 was assessed. The conclusion – dengue patients were 2.4 times more at risk for stroke.
