Celebrating the upcoming nuptials of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, British automaker MINI has designed a one-off MINI Hatch to mark the Royal Wedding.
Following the wedding, which is scheduled for May 19, this unique hatchback will be donated to The Children’s HIV Association (CHIVA), the couple’s chosen charity, for public auction.
Here’s more.
A gift for the royal couple to commemorate their wedding
The car is finished in crystal white shade with silver-blue accent strips and a black band that wraps around the car to give it a blue-tinted, matte silver paint finish.
Several known MINI features remain unchanged, including the hexagonal grille and chrome accents around headlights, tail-lamps, and door handles.
There’s also a Union Jack design in the taillights, which are matched by dark-blue alloy wheels.
The car is also an embodiment of personalization
The car also gets a unique roof graphic that has been applied by hand in several layers, bringing out the aesthetic elements of the couple’s respective national flags.
As an expression of personalization, the car will have 3D-printed and embellished ‘M & H’ initials around the side-turn indicators.
Also, an exclusive “Just Married” image is projected onto the ground when the door is opened.
