By Air: The nearest airport to Satpuli is located in Dehradun at a distance of about 130 km. Once you have reached Dehradun, you can either hire a direct cab or use public transport to reach Satpuli. It will take an average time of 4 h to reach your destination from Dehradun.

By Rail: The nearest major railhead is located in Kotdwar at a distance of about 53 km. From the railway station, you can either take a bus or hire a cab to reach Satpuli.

By Road: Satpuli has a commendable network of roads. Therefore, it can be easily approached by road.

Palm Springs, California

You can admire sweeping desert views from the top of the aerial tramway, and stroll amid the downtown area’s Spanish-style architecture and world-class museums. There’s no need for jackets since this city stays 20 degrees Celsius or warmer all winter long. This luxurious destination is only about 170 kilometers east of Los Angeles and 200 kilometers northeast of San Diego, California.

The hyper-real looking statue formed part of an art installation by the Belgian artists’ collective Captain Boomer.

Around the sculpture, members of the collective dressed as researchers took measurements and threw buckets of water onto the mammal replica.

According to the collective’s website, the installation entitled Whale “is a gigantic metaphor for the disruption of our ecological system.”
